Summer is here in full blast. Nice sunny weather means less time indoors. I will be heading to the beach this saturday to chill with Satelites as they practice and all are welcome. If you want to buy tickets for upcoming gigs we will have them there 10$ a piece. So Satelites and I were watching the bloopers reels on my computer the other day, and when I paused the vid this is the exact moment that was captured. We were already laughing at all the stupid stuff that was going on and when we seen this we were laughing even harder.

The second Vlog is now uploading on youtube. Today is the last day of spring. If you have time tomorrow we are going to be a ellesmere skatepark to attend go skateboarding day. A really busy week this week for everyone. New video blog coming up this week. Go Skateboarding day on the first day of summer and Satelites will most likely be at Ellesmere skate park with me. Another Satelites milestone was passed yesterday, more info in upcoming video blog. On Tuesday, Satelites had an open Mic gig at Free times cafe. I was lucky enough to be one of the many people who got to sit in that small room. If you guys remember I posted up a vid on May 12 of Theo at an open mic, it is the same place for those who want to see what it looks like. They actually performed one of their newly composed songs at the end, and the three man acoustic sounded amazing. Hope you enjoi the pics below.

Satelites' timeline part 9

So while we waited for Allen to finish his confessionals, Art, Theo and I were fooling around in the other room. I remember Art playing the piano that was there and then the people from much had to come around and ask us to stay quiet lol.

They had so many things in the lounge area. There was a fridge full of steam whistle's, an Xbox, a bunch on rock mags, and alot of memorabilia from many famous guitarists. 
While going through one of the magazines, Theo found his guitar in a picture.After all the confessionals were done, the first day of filming for disband was finished. On the way out of the museum Theo and Allen decided to check out the little setup they had going on there. Theo asked if he could have a pic with all the pedals.

They then proceeded to rock out on the stage. Arthur was on his way to take home his very own bass.

Arthur was super stoked on what much has done for them. It was now time to tackle this challenge presented to them.

My memorabilia of Satelites

To prove to you that I have hours upon hours of footage from Satelites. Most of this was filmed in the last 3-4 months ( the HD footy of course) The older tapes are from last Sept-Feb. I have filmed a couple of their gigs as you can see in some of the stuff I have already put up. I am now collecting some footy to make a dvd in the near future, so everything you didnt get to see will most likely be on that.

Update June 1st, 2009

Big things are poppin, sorry for the lack of updates. Whenever I go meet up with Satelites it's mostly meetings, and I can't really put vids up of us talking, but know that things are brewing up. Especially with the word of mouth spreading like fire now. The Myspace has been updated with some of the songs from the demo so if you haven't heard (where have you been??) also the profile pics have been updated from the last photo shoot we had at walnut. Future gig dates will be going up soon and we have had some nibbles from local labels, but thats all in discussion right now. More vids will be coming up shortly after the youtube maintenance is done.
