A Long Awaited Update September 9, 2009 (999)

I know it's been a while but there is a reason, actually a little problem I have been having with the software I use to edit vids. I don't know how long it will take to fix (hopefully this week) but as soon as it does the faster the vids will come back. In other news I am back in school starting a couple days ago so I will try to keep some time to updating this. Satelites have an upcoming Gig on October 16, 2009 at reverb for the Futures past album release party. Everything will eventually come up but hopefully I get everything dealt with this week so I can edit more vids. Check back later

Update August 20, 2009

Well it's been a really busy month, I have also just moved my workstation so it may be a little while before I get the programs on this macbook. I have alot of projects lined up to do and it seems like Satelites are getting back into the recording phase. There is alot of stuff in the works so please be patient. In the mean time watch the vids and play their songs, and tell people to tell people to tell people about these guys. I am going to be going back to school this september but I will try and set some time aside to continue filming satelites and shoot some more skate footage. The next vlog will be pushed back so I can post up the battle of the car clubs weekend clip.

I'm currently working on Vlog 4 which will be uploaded before the weekend just getting things ready and all. There's a sneak peak at something on the vlog so enjoi that and I'm going back to work.

Update July 9th, 2009

Really sorry for the lack of updates, just trying to take in as much summer as possible before it goes away. Im going to try to put up some stuff before I leave. Im going to be away at Montreal this weekend and then Vegas next week so I will not be able to post up anything until I get back. Meaning Vlog 4 will be delayed a week sorry. In the meantime all you fans can hit up the show tomorrow and see them live. More demos will be given away so go and get them.

Sorry for the lack of updates but I am currently working on the 3rd Satelites vlog at the moment. Too much work and skating now the weather is amazing. Upcoming Satelites shows are everywhere so come out and support them. Check the myspace, the facebook page, watch the vids, over and over and over. Oh and tell ppl about them, enjoi.

Summer is here in full blast. Nice sunny weather means less time indoors. I will be heading to the beach this saturday to chill with Satelites as they practice and all are welcome. If you want to buy tickets for upcoming gigs we will have them there 10$ a piece. The second Vlog is now uploading on youtube. Today is the last day of spring. If you have time tomorrow we are going to be a ellesmere skatepark to attend go skateboarding day. A really busy week this week for everyone. New video blog coming up this week. Go Skateboarding day on the first day of summer and Satelites will most likely be at Ellesmere skate park with me. Another Satelites milestone was passed yesterday, more info in upcoming video blog. Update June 1st, 2009

Big things are poppin, sorry for the lack of updates. Whenever I go meet up with Satelites it's mostly meetings, and I can't really put vids up of us talking, but know that things are brewing up. Especially with the word of mouth spreading like fire now. The Myspace has been updated with some of the songs from the demo so if you haven't heard (where have you been??) also the profile pics have been updated from the last photo shoot we had at walnut. Future gig dates will be going up soon and we have had some nibbles from local labels, but thats all in discussion right now. More vids will be coming up shortly after the youtube maintenance is done.

Satelites show today at the Reverb

Sorry a bout the lack of posts, everyone has been a bit busy lately. I just finished burning a stack of discs for demos since we didnt get to send it out. We have about 50 or so, so if you make it out today ask us for a demo and enjoy it. I'll put up a vid of these guys taslking about the demo from last week. The sunnier it is outside the harder it is for me to not skate haha.

I'm now at Theo's witnessing the final production stages of the Demo. There was a little complication yesterday in uploading the tracks to myspace, so they will be using my laptop to upload the track to myspace. Another layout is in the works as you guys have noticed. Happy Birthday Mr. Pinlac + Updates

Today May 15, 2009 is Allen's 23rd birthday, the guys are also leaving for cottage this afternoon minus Theo, Fred, and I. Hope they have a safe and fun trip. Theo is putting the final touches to the post production of the tracks on the Demo. Fred and I have work this weekend, hopefully I can make it out for this sunday. The Demo is practically done and is going to go under the mass production stage after this long weekend. Tickets for the upcoming show are now on sale, this gig is going to be packed so get your tickets while they are still available.

Busy, Busy, Busy And another Gig on the 24th

The sunnier it gets outside, the more I skate. The more I skate, the less I edit :( I know, I know i'm slacking. You can't blame me i've been waiting for it to be this nice out since the dead of winter and I'm just taking advantage of that. I haven't run out of footy actually i'm stacked. The memorabilia for today was supposed to be all the tapes and stuff I have collected from Satelites, and I have collected alot of stuff. I didn't get to take pics of it yet cuz i've also been working alot more so all my free time goes to skating. We have got tickets in for the next upcoming Gig at the reverb again. With the Satelites as a whole band everyone should come and check it out. I already know it's gunna be packed and we are trying really hard to get this demo finished up in the next couple weeks. It feels like forever since they started working on the demo. That's how it is though trying to squeeze practice and having gigs.

I know this isn't a Satelites memorabilia, it's actually a Skyboy, actually it's knida for both. A couple months ago we had a serious talk (it was march 4) and we were talking about watching out for signs life shows us. I gave this munny as a gift to Xillionaire and it is displayed in his room like that. The Munny had a Sign which was a sign for us like the rocker munny was a sign for Satelites at Much.

Allen and I ended up just chillin yesterday talking alot about these kinds of things. We ended up going to Killas place and dropped a piece in his backyard. I also got to see his Chameleon and it made me miss mine :P enjoi the pics

Last night was the last night Syd had the studio so we decided to do the photo shoot with the Satelites as a full band. Also the drums have come back to Skyboy studio to finish the Satelites demo.
