As we left the skate park and was heading back to Serge's cottage, Allen spoted a way down into a drying riverbed area. He asked if I could pull over so that they could scope it out. I ended up parking at a future site of a concrete skatepark that they were building in the area. We walked down into the river bed and took a bunch of pics. It was there in that moment these guys were discussing where they would be with the band the next time they come back to that spot. After filming and capturing videos at that spot we decided to head back to the cottage.
We stopped by a Tim hortons before going back to the cottage. The cashier saw that Theo was carrying a guitar and asked if we were a band. He humbly said that he was and that they should keep an eye out for Satelites in the near future. That night was the last night at the cottage and we all partied and feasted like it was the last night there. We had a guitar hero competition on Serge's PS2 and it was pure fun with everyone being so drunk.
Richard made some of the best Korean BBQ we have ever tasted. Everyone gathered around the fire to share many many laughs. Slowly one by one as the night grew longer everyone started to knock out.
We would soon awake for the journey home the next day.
